There are over 14,000 golf courses in the United States; each course covers several acres of land. Therefore, hundreds of thousands of acres are being kept aside for a few people to loaf around on them – planning orgies on weekends – when they can be used for something more productive – like being used to keep porta-potties! In that sense, the presence of golf courses is adding to America’s severe constipation problem! I read somewhere that Tiger Woods held a golf club at age 2! Wanting to egg my 4-year old, good for nothing grandson on, I presented him with a golf club and he jabbed it between my legs, laughed excitedly and ran around the house holding his peewee in his hand! Mark my words, that little guy’s gonna be a famous rap artist when he grows up! Anyway, this little mishap didn’t compel me to fill in a Medicare form because I myself sell Medicare Supplement plans – but it sure increased my hatred for that SOB sport, golf! More than half the calories you burn while playing golf are due to lugging your heavy, heavy clubs around! And, what do you do after a round of 18 holes? Sit down, relax and quaff some beers and get double those calories back, while Mother Nature plays havoc below your belt by invoking your dormant hernia! Jeez, go fill up a Medigap form if Medicare doesn’t cover you yet, my friend! These were some of my ramblings on golf and why you need to be insured if you play it.
