If you are turning 65 or older, or if you are entitled to Medicare due to a disability, you will be entitled to an open enrollment period. If you apply for Medigap supplement ins-urance coverage during the six month period beginning with the first month in which you enroll for Medicare Part B, every Medicare insurance company must accept you as a policyholder. You will have the option to choose you plan. There is no rejection of applications due to pre-existing medical conditions.
