It should be noted that neither Insurance Companies nor its agents are part of Medicare or a governmental agency.  Insurance premiums and Medicare benefits vary by the actual plan.  Medicare supplemental plans that are available will vary by jurisdiction.  Supplemental insurance is also available to recipients below age 65 who are eligible for Medicare because of disability.
